Adapter to enable MIL-STD-1553 bus master devices to communicate with DS-101 devices as peripherals.  Supports both RS-232 and RS-485 physical layer communications.

●  Environmentally ruggedized for austere and hostile environments.

●  Supports RS-485 physical interface common to most DS-101 equipment in accordance with EKMS 308

●  Acts as a Powered Device on a Power Over Ethernet bus.  No external power adapter required if interfacing to PoE compatible Ethernet switch.  Compatible with external PoE AC Power Injectors.

●  Plug and play.  Transparent to host applications -- just looks like a COM port

●  Automatically enumerates on network using DHCP

●  Compatible with either standard Ethernet CAT5/6 patch cables, or with the Arkham Technology Ruggedized Ethernet Patch Cable for harsher environments.
